Hankang Jin is a Chinese artist and spatial designer currently based in Milan.

“In my works, I’m trying to merge the emotional feelings into colours and brushstrokes to engage the outside world.”

In addition to his profession as a spatial designer, Jin uses art as a practical way of expressing his thoughts and ideas about life. Among the many art genres, he is particularly fond of abstract expressionism. He could clearly recall the first time he saw Cy Twombly’s painting and was deeply impressed by the poetic abstraction it possessed.

He chooses to create works digitally to satisfy his desire and need for instant expression. He enjoys the unique randomness that comes only when working digitally.
