Federico Brognoli
Federico Brognoli (b.1981) is an Italian painter and sculptor who has lived and worked in New York City since 2009. After graduating from the Academy of Fine Art in his hometown of Brescia, Italy, he moved to Turin to study at The Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti.
A complex variety of styles and media characterises Federico’s work, which appears as if different personalities contribute to the realisation of each art piece. From paintings to sculptures, every creation is a manifestation of the meditative dialogue that happens between the artist and the medium used. Federico works intuitively; most of the time there is no planning in his approach to a new piece, “...it is just like the first time.”
