Lubo Mikle lives and works in Bratislava, Slovakia. Mikle completed an M.F.A. at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava (AFAD) in 2006.

Lubo works predominantly in the medium of sculpture, sound object and installation. His work merges elements of recycling, the art of industrial character, large-scale dimensionality, destructive attitudes and transformation.

He likes to collaborate with sound composers and sound performers and has significant experience with co-organizing symposiums and exhibitions. He has produced 12 solo exhibitions to date and participated in numerous group shows. Mikle is represented in local and international collections including Danubiana Meulensteen Art Museum, Zoya Gallery & Zoya Museum. Mikle is represented by Sculpture by the Sea Inc. and White & Weiss Contemporary Art Gallery.
