Hugo Sandoval
Hugo Sandoval currently resides in Guadalajara, a city in central Mexico, the land of tequila and mariachis. For over 14 years he has worked as an artist collaborating on advertising projects with national and international brands such as Jack Daniels, Hershey and Ford Motors.
His work is described as “vibrant, eclectic, versatile, avant garde and crazy”. He works with a variety of media such as collage, ink, digital art, photography, charcoal, tablets and Sharpies.
He studied graphic design at the Cuauhtémoc University of the City of Guadalajara and has maintained a love for painting, illustration and the arts throughout his career.
“I describe my work as an explosion of surrealistic senses with a mix of the universe that lives in my head.”
Since 2016, he had the opportunity to collaborate with various national artists and exhibit his work in cultural sites in his hometown of Guadalajara.
