Ola Marchocka
Ola Marchocka - Polish illustrator and creative director. She began working in the advertising and entertainment industry in 2007. In 2009, she graduated from the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw with a Master of Arts Degree. Since then, she created numerous projects for brands like Ericsson, Aviva Commercial Union, M&M’s, Sodexo, Nescafé, Škoda and more. Ola’ s illustrations were exhibited in Poland, Italy, Mexico, and Australia.
She received several worldwide awards and nominations for her projects. In her personal work, cuteness and cruelty fade into one another, inspired by the brutal yet childish world of fairytales, tattoo art and classic pin-up girls. She aestheticizes ugliness in order to create an image of femininity that is a bit sweet and a bit scary.
