Jeremy David Bouchard

Never suspecting he would turn to art, Jeremy David Bouchard focused for years on growing his career in healthcare. He found success as a clinical manager and surgical neurophysiologist in charge of his company’s Northern New England team working alongside surgeons to help identify early signs of neurological injury during surgery.

All that changed when he discovered art. “I started painting in 2017, and it has transformed my life”. Entirely self-taught, having only used Google and YouTube to educate himself, Jeremy’s works are an embrace of the fluidity and expression found within art, a complete contrast to his professional work.

He is inspired by bright and bold colours, patterns, striation of colour, pattern and geometric abstraction.

“My medium is most often acrylic paint but my work surface ultimately inspires whatever medium I employ. I often make use of old artwork, transforming and regenerating it into new forms.”

Jeremy is a Boston, Massachusetts native, who has now moved to Worcester and is an active member of ArtsWorcester.
