Raul Moreno Coslado

Raúl Moreno Coslado is a freelance illustrator and artist living in Girona, Spain. Oriental, fantastical and realistic elements are all present in his expressive work, with great attention paid to physical movement and detailed characteristics of characters.

“Since I was a child, I always expressed myself better with shapes and drawings than with words. I have always wanted to transmit and interpret my ideas and my thoughts in images. I think it is the best method to understand a human being.”

While he always enjoys the traditional method and aesthetic, he currently prefers digital art creation using his Wacom tablet. The base of his inspiration stems from his childhood love of the work of Akira Toriyama (Dragonball Z) and has stretched to include Moebius, Simon Bisley, Claire Wendling, Adam Hughes, James Harren and many more.
