Parish Cherry

Parish Cherry is an illustrator based in LA. He works in branding and marketing, but illustration is where his heart is and has always been. It is the forefront of his focus.

 In his work, he explores what he calls the “Sense of Wonder”, an examination of the presence of something much more significant than ourselves. He also enjoys studying psychology and mythology to find more effective ways to communicate ideas through his art. 

Parish creates his work mainly utilizing ink, gouache or digital and continues to explore mediums to find what suits his work the best. 

“I find inspiration in many people and places, but a few of the major ones would have to be James Jean, Moebius, Haruki Murakami, Joseph Campbell, Kadhja Bonet, Sevdaliza, and Flying Lotus.”
