Caroline KY Wong (Carokaii)

Caroline is a self-taught, versatile illustrator and game artist from Hong Kong currently residing in Sweden. Her digital artworks are inspired by fantasy and surrealism, with a focus on the eye. Her illustrations are characterised by their immense level of detail and the enlarged eyes of her characters.

Caroline graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Environment and Interior Design. She always wanted to focus on painting, so she started her career as a game artist, which taught her to master digital tools and provided her with the skills to adapt to different artistic styles.

Throughout her career, she has worked in concept art, game art and UI design. She produces corporate identity, graphic design, watercolour and digital art projects in her free time. She has worked with Universal Studios and Illumination on the Minion Mip Turbo Dave project (2017), an interactive app starring a self-balancing robot named Dave.
