Jimny Smith — Capsules

Japanese illustrator and designer Jimny Smith is inspired by American cartoons, 80s music and movies and sometimes the sound of rain. He is currently completing his master’s at the Tokyo University of Arts.

Having studied Oil Painting at Musashino Art University, he is proficient in both Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator and frequently uses an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. His works often evoke a sense of loneliness.

Jimny has also had the opportunity to work on projects with Starbucks. He enjoys working on media such as film posters and concept art.
