Mina K
Artist Mina K creates fashionable visual designs laden with glamour and luxury in her highly stylized and sophisticated artwork and designs.
She is inspired by fashion marketing icons such as Russian-French fashion designer Erté of the art-deco period, Italian fashion designer Rene Gruau who gave life to haute couture, and Coby Whitmore an illustrator of American consumerism in the 50s.
She graduated from Hongik University where she majored inTextile and Fashion Design. Her creative process generally begins with hand-drawn sketches using either pencil, ink, coloured pencil or watercolour paints.
Noteworthy projects include work created for Osulloc magazine and a mise en scene spray cover illustration. She has also exhibited her work at the Brick Lane Gallery in London.
She currently resides in Seoul, South Korea.
