Cat S. is the artist behind Permanent3rdGrade.com, a website showcasing whimsical comics and experiments in visual storytelling.

Cat is a self-taught artist and began her relationship with art at an early age. She studied visual communication at University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts, where she found freelance work as a book illustrator. Since graduating she has worked as a graphic artist and web designer.

In 2015 she returned to her love of traditional media and visual storytelling and started producing short story comics using watercolour, gouache and graphite. She publishes them online and exhibits at comic conventions.

She admires artworks by Bill Sienkiewicz, David Small and Sam Alden.

Cat is currently based in Metro, Manila and is looking to collaborate on visual storytelling projects.
