Karol Drzewiecki

Karol Drzewiecki is a Polish painter who skillfully combines the aesthetics of street art with Pop art. He takes up current, socio-cultural topics that engage him and explores the mutual relations of forms and colours put together on canvas in various configurations.

Karol states that his inspirations are “both dynamics and movement, in the context of the painting’s theme and the expressive stylistics of the work.”

Karol graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Visual Communication at the University of Arts in Poznań. He has been a participant of many group and individual exhibitions in Poland and Europe and is a record-holder at the DESA Unicum auction house (2012).
