Sarah Kellner

Sarah Kellner is an artist and writer living in San Francisco. She graduated with a BFA from the Savannah College of Art & Design in 2010 and was the resident artist at gallery1526 in Atlanta in 2013. Sarah’s art is strictly analogue, her preferred media is a ballpoint pen, charcoal, oil and acrylic paint, and she has recently begun exploring mixed media.

At a young age, Sarah developed a relationship with music that became a constant in her life, and her musical obsession has taken visual form in portraits of David Bowie, Prince, Stevie Nicks and many others. She also draws inspiration from street art and the work of fellow Melbourne, Florida native artists Clay Maslow and Derek Gores.
