Radhika Chitalia
Radhika Chitalia is a graphic designer and illustrator originally from Mumbai, India. For the last six years, she has worked from Copenhagen, Denmark creating colourful and intricate works.
She graduated with a Diploma in Applied Arts from Mumbai’s Sophia Polytechnic. Although her education was focused on graphic design and advertising, drawing has always been her passion. She creates mostly using gouache and often mixes that with pen work and colour pencils.
“My aesthetic is colourful, intricate and detailed. I love drawing plants, birds and contemplative girls. Even though my subjects are contemporary, my illustration style is heavily inspired by old Indian folk arts like Kalamkari, Gond and Mughal painting.”
As a part-time graphic designer, her spare time is filled working on commissioned artworks with companies based both in India and Europe.
