Sabina Dischneev

Illustrator Sabina Dischneev currently lives near Stuttgart, Germany. She creates works with a psychedelic, abstracted aesthetic in which she explores the mind and psyche by experimenting with movement and shape. 

Utilizing her training in graphic design, she now aims to use her talent and knowledge to create works that convey a free and playful way of interacting with the world. 

“I get my inspiration by the very meaning of inspiration— in the wonder of existence, in experiencing and evolving existence, in the bittersweet contrasts, in meaningful pulsation, in the deep and the light—in all the possibilities.” 

To create her expressive works she prefers to use traditional tools such as pencils, paint, markers or whatever can make a mark on a blank page, to fill an empty room. She is also proficient in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. 

“My main interest is the mind and the psyche. I explore this subject in my own way. My message to the world would be: play, experiment, listen, listen in all possible ways you can imagine. The world is a mysterium.”
