Rocío García ART

Illustrator, animator, and graphic designer Rocío García was born in Spain and currently lives in the Canary Islands. Her primary work is in character design and visual development. 

She has completed studies in illustration and obtained several other certifications, from character design to painting with light and colour. Her works are crafted using digital and traditional media such as Adobe Photoshop, watercolour paints and coloured pencils. 

“My expressive cartoon characters within my illustration and animation works contain emotive facial features that are inspired by a number of famous animators including French animator and comic artist Claire Wendling, Disney animator Glen Keane who worked films such as Aladdin and The Little Mermaid, and concept, visual artist Cory Loftis who is known for his character design in films such as Frozen, among many others.” 

Her most notable work to date was her animation work for Virgin Media, ‘Fun Christmas for Virgin Media’ Brandia.tv (2012). Currently, Rocío works as an art director in a mobile games focused company.
