Lily Albertine

Lily Albertine is a freelance illustrator and designer, currently living in Basel, Switzerland. Since the moment she could hold a pencil, drawing has been her everyday passion. 

As a daughter of a Finnish mother and a Czech father, finding identity in her art has been, and still is, a treasured task. She draws her inspiration mainly from flora and fauna, mythical tales, legends and books she grew up with. Even as a child, she began to admire the works of renowned artists such as Alfons Mucha or Salvador Dalí, Zdeněk Miler, Tove Jansson and John Bauer, as well as contemporary artists such as Sanna Annukka and Teagan White who influence her work today.

In 2016 she founded her brand Lily Design and has worked for notable clients such as Campari and Aperol.
