YooJin Guak

YooJin Guak is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer based in Seoul, South Korea.

After completing her studies in illustration at OCADU, in Toronto, Canada, she now owns and operates her creative practice, Whimsy Breezy.

 “These days, I am completely in love with watercolour paints. I find it totally fascinating to see how the images turn out when you use watercolour because you have to paint very quickly and finish your piece almost all at once.”

Recently, YooJin collaborated with a Korean fashion label, Among, for their  S/S 2019 collection. “I really loved working with them. I produced a series of abstract patterns following the theme of their collection “Untitle”, which was inspired by American abstract artist Cy Twombly’s painting titled ‘Untitle’.”
