Caroline Park
Caroline Park is a designer with a calm reserve, swelling from a lifetime of experiences, playing with and learning from a cacophony of interests. Her interest in image-making began at the deserted moors of Michigan’s wheat fields. Now based in Brooklyn, Caroline produces collages, ceramics and photography. Her works are explorations into the messy tendrils of life. “Starting with tenor and bass notes, my work is accented with trills that exude vulnerability and strength at once.”
She has a bachelor’s in art history and women studies from the University of Michigan and a master’s in graphic design from the coyote-studded desert hill at Cal Arts, Valencia. She was a community educator at Planned Parenthood and a photographer and librarian in the Bay Area.
