Jennifer Smith
Freelance illustrator Jennifer Smith currently resides in Auckland, New Zealand.
She received both her certificate in Art and Design Intermediate and a Bachelor of Design from the Auckland University Of Technology. She primarily uses Adobe Illustrator to produce her works, while her sketches and doodles are created in Adobe Photoshop or her sketchbook.
“My inspirations come from many artists, such as Meomi, Cronobreaker, Jimbo Phillips and the Japanese kawaii style. I would describe my work as a mixed bag of cuteness, animals, horror and dark humour. I have a passion for designing bright and colourful vector illustrations for t-shirts and stickers.
I have a fascination with tentacles, which evident in much of my work. I was contacted by a client who commissioned me to create a design made entirely of twisting tentacles.”
