Joanna Seul
Joanna Seul is an illustrator based in Southern California.
She received her degree from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in 2017. Since then, she has travelled many parts of the world through the missionary organization Youth With a Mission (YWAM), trekking the rolling hills of Lamjung, Nepal to the bustling streets of Antananarivo, Madagascar. Through her travels, Joanna was able to build a relationship with the locals through art, gaining a broader perspective of how image makers can make an impact for the greater good.
She often works with traditional media such as watercolour and ink. Joanna enjoys making work that is honest and light, seeking to bring people together in a world where she feels “hurt and division runs deep.”
