Laura Ličer

Laura Ličer is a self-taught illustrator from Ljubljana, Slovenia. 

Her main inspirations are connections between existing and imaginary creatures. 

During the ten years of her artistic career, she has illustrated 25 books for children and adults, and painted approximately 400 paintings on canvas. Her biggest wish is to publish prints of her paintings worldwide or to publish them in books without words, where illustrations would speak for themselves. She also produces mural paintings, one of her biggest projects is a collection of cats playing cards and a puzzle featuring her “Queen Lizard” painting.  

She works independently with writers and publishers and is very active in exhibiting her works – to date, she has had more than 100 solo exhibitions in art galleries, libraries, youth centres and other cultural institutions.
