Grzegorz Izdebski is a graphic artist and illustrator living in Cieszyn, Poland. He has a master’s degree in Graphic Design from the Institute of Art of the University of Silesia, where he is currently a PhD student. His work is characterised by a coupling of emphasise traditional and modern technology. Grzegorz has the intention to and show many facets of life through his art which discuss social, psychological, physical and economic issues. Describing his creative outlook, he says, “Drawing best expresses my thoughts.”

He aims to create a graphic and drawing language which is precise and sensitive. He prefers using traditional media to create his work. For him, “The hand of an artist armed with a pencil plays a much greater role than mastering digital techniques.”

Izdebski has participated in over 70 domestic and international exhibitions, including shows in China, Mexico and Canada. His work has also won a number of significant prizes.
