Laura Castro — Capsules

Laura Castro, an artist based in the Midwest of the United States, is known for her unique use of building materials and paint that give her pieces a distinctive dimension and texture. Castro’s artworks are made from a host of different materials from canvas and plaster to concrete and plexiglass. Her style ranges from wildly abstract to post-impressionist and contemporary. She has held several solo exhibitions in Iowa and created commercial work for Godaddy LLC and United Way.
