Stavros Damos
Stavros Damos was born in Thessaloniki in 1977, where he eventually studied graphic design at AAS College of Art & Design. He now works as an illustrator. His current clients are primarily advertising agencies, publishing houses and magazines located in Greece and abroad.
Carefully using fine lines stacked closely together or varying in directions, Stavros’ rough patchwork of lines presents details and textures that have a sketchbook feel, yet are bold and purposeful. He creates his works with a Wacom Cintiq tablet and is proficient in Adobe Photoshop. Stavros has had the opportunity to work with clients including The Washington Post, Womankind Magazine, Mojo magazine, BBC history magazine and American Scientific.
